Tu Duc's Tomb and Residence

Emperor Tu Duc ruled from 1848 to 1883 and was the longest ruler of the Nguyen dynasty.
He built an elaborate tomb complex and summer palace from 1864 to 1867 outside of Hue.
Although he had over a hundred wives and concubines, he could not become a father.
He was not actually buried here but at a secret location elsewhere.
