Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon Buildings, a Few Older

Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon has undergone rapid development, with new buildings and skyscrapers.  Here are a few of the older ones that have survived.
This first is likely from the early 1930's and shows French International Style influence.

A lovely example of Vietnamese adaptation of the International Style, now a government office building.

Private apartment building, showing Art Deco style, probably from the 1920's.

Saigon Central Post Office was built between 1886 and 1891, designed by 'Chief Architect of the Colony of French Indochina.'

Note prominent portrait of Ho Chi Minh inside and heroic socialist sculpture outside.
