Furka Pass 2436 meters

The big climb was followed by another climb, up to 2,436 meters. Alan, below, contemplates the road up.



The Furka Pass is the watershed divide between the Rhone drainage, seen below, and the Reuss River which flows north to the Rhine. The Furka Pass is the site of the Rhone Glacier, seen above.
