"  The Museum für Gestaltung is the leading museum of design and visual communication in Switzerland. The exhibition program presents a wide range of themes and monographs from the areas of industrial and product design, graphic design, typography, photography, posters, films, furniture, fashion, jewellery, crafts, architecture and scenography. With educational activities such as guided tours as well as exhibition talks and family and school workshops the museum gives visitors the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of design.

In its newly opened location in the Toni-Areal the Museum für Gestaltung will show changing exhibitions and brings together the Poster, Design, Applied Art and Graphics Collections that comprise more than 500,000 objects. Daily guided tours of the collection offer insights into its internationally important collections and enable visitors to experience design history.

The location on Ausstellungsstrasse 60 is closed for renovation and will reopen as an exhibition space in its original form in 2018. Up-to-date information can be found on the website
