Around Basel

Weil am Rhein, across the river from Basel, calls itself the City of Chairs.

It is the home of the Vitra Company, that has design rights to many of the most famous 20th Century Furniture. They have opened the Vitra Design Museum, below.

The Botanical Garden in Basel is a wonderful little garden in the middle of the city.
