First Steps to Build Retaining Wall

Dig a trench for foundation.
Make it as straight, sharp and clean as possible.
Not easy when bedrock is at the surface!
Lay down parallel rebar at the bottom of trench and hook them together.
Create vertical rebars which will go through the holes of concrete blocks.
Make a vertical structure to hold strings for level.

Main part of wall is done by these two talented guys.

Planting is next.

It will be several months until steel cap is fabricated.
