Meadows, Pastures, Flowers along the Southern GTA

 The lines between natural meadows, managed pastures, and what flowers occur as natives are not clear.
In fact, it would seem that cows and other grazing animals have been a shaper of alpine landscapes for centuries (or millenia).

Above, is the rare wildflower Edelweiss, or Stella Alpina in Italian.  They were seen in a cow pasture.

Some meadows are managed well and some badly.  All of the meadows are on alpine slopes and have light grazing by cows.  They appear to be well managed and have diverse and beautiful wildflowers.
