Cows along the Southern GTA

 Cows have not only provided the basis for local alpine economies, but in fact made alpine valleys habitable before transportation allowed easy access.  They are still important and evident everywhere in summer.  Very different than cows in large industrial dairies.  See next entry for positive images of well managed meadows.
