August 11, 2008: Into the Hills
We were biking north from the Neckar watershed up and over the plateau into the Main drainage. We had 10-15 kilometers climb up (maybe 350-400 meters elevation gain), much on off-road logging paths.
Sometimes, there were pastures. This bull did not want us too close to the cow.
Occasionally, there were even wildflowers.
Definitely logging activity, although it seemed to be culling rather than clear cut.
