August at Art Angeles

 Along the Oswegatchie River:  western edge of Adirondack Park in New York State.

The river is brown with tannins from the evergreen trees and filled with rounded granite boulders.  It  flows full and fast all year.  Foam swirls in the back eddies below the falls.









Memorial chalk drawings in the style of Paul Klee, above, are dimmed, below, by overnight rain - which feeds the Oswegatchie flow!
