Chestnut Hill Friends Meeting, March 2021

 



Above, a spring blooming Witch Hazel cultivar reaches for the sky.
It was the only thing blooming.

Below, a sunny day attracts neighbors to read in the sun and birds soaring; these were vultures.










The trees have not leafed out yet.
There are so many dead and dying ones in this exposed woodland on a rocky ridge.

Random Weird Stuff: March 2021

 

Lots of snow in February protected the burrowing rodents.

When the snow finally melted, vole tunnels appeared as sketches on this hillside.
